Is it open to the general public yet? Looks good!

    • Yes and no. I've set the system to allow search engines and web crawlers, but I haven't decided on a site name yet. The public can get in, provided they can find us. Also, I'm spending my time right now setting up the site structure and haven't added much of anything in the way of content yet.

Bear in mind that when I get this all set up, the web address for it will be changing. This is a temporary way for us to test the software and tweak the settings. Everything you see here now was thrown together in about an hour. The final product will look much better.

  2. Here's a topic sure to cause some discussion. Is it time for the US to end Affirmative Action? Personally, I think it is long overdue. I'll provide some reasons for that opinion on my next break.

    • The biggest reason for ending it is that it is doing nothing now but holding blacks down. It is fostering a dependence on government and reinforcing the false notion that black people can't make on their own, or that they aren't as capable as everyone else. That's just total BS, and most of us know it.

The other side of that coin is that it unfairly punishes whites who might be equally qualified for the same position, but the employer or college has a quota to fill. The net effect is that the government pays the employers or colleges to discriminate against whites and penalizes them if they do not. This is just social engineering at it's worst and it needs to stop.

      • I completely agree. Technically, as a woman I'm considered a "minority". I HATE affirmative action. I had been thinking about changing career fields into auto mechanics (I love cars), and everyone keeps telling me that it would be a cinch to get a job, since auto shops would kill to have a woman working for them. I don't want to be offered a job because of my race or gender, I want it based on my experience, expertise, and ethics. It's degrading to me to think someone would want me to work for them to meet a quota. Then I'm just another body, not a valuable asset.

        • MDgal24 says:

I feel the same way. I work in a male-dominated field, but got my start because my bosses knew me from where I worked. So they knew my work ethic and asked me to apply. However, in other areas of the state my company covers I do see the results of political correctness and affirmative action and those results are often sad and sorry.

          • If you've ever worked in the public sector, you'll have really seen the effects of it there. There is a sense (an unjustified sense) of entitlement emanating from every single person who was hired on the basis of affirmative action. Their attitude is "I was hired to fill a quota, so I can't be fired for not doing my job. That would be discrimination!" Unfortunately, those above them have bought into that line of thinking lock, stock and barrel. It has become a self fulfilling prophesy. And it's the Communists who have infiltrated our higher education system that have reinforced this mindset in our upper management throughout the public AND private sectors.

We have to re-educate the current population and break the back of the Communists in the NEA (National Education Association) in order to get a handle on this situation. Education is the key. Thomas Jefferson knew it and so did the Communists. We've sat idle and allowed this insidious disease to infect the entire world. It is high time we started fighting back. The Communists have turned education into a massive propaganda tool. The Holy Bible and the U.S. Constitution can save us from this assault, but only if we are willing to use both of those tools to our advantage. This war has been raging for decades and we declined to acknowledge it. It's time to get in the fight. Speak out boldly. The truth is its own defense. May God, once again, bless the United States of America and give us strength in our hour of dire need!

        • I have suffered another kind of discrimination. Being a white man with a good work ethic, I have repeatedly been sacrificed on the altar of "efficiency". In the latter years of my plumbing career, I was constantly being derided for "taking too long to get the job done". I never once had to go back to any job I did, because I was taught well and did it right the first time. Why do we never have the time to get it right, but always have the time to go back and fix a half-assed job?

I see this same problem in Government. We pass Bills that make no sense and don't enforce the Laws already on the books. In my estimation, we should abandon this worship of "do it faster and cheaper" and return to "do it as good as humanly possible in a reasonable time". We can never compete with 3rd world labor on the basis of fast and cheap. We must strive for the best products and services on the planet. That is our niche for the future, if we are to survive at all. I don't care if you're red or yellow, black or white. We're ALL precious in His sight! Just get to work and GET IT RIGHT!

    • Affirmitive action does need to end. I was brought up with a strong "Germanic" (something we said in my fam b/c we are mostly German) upper midwestern work ethic. I was taught if I work hard and do my best there would be reward and not just monetarily, but that there is a pride in doing my best. Now our gov't rewards mediocrity.

      • Germany was is always in my mind as the model of quality over time. That is one of the things I most admire about their culture. Where would we be if not for the German Beer Purity Law?! I'm Scott/Irish mainly, but I know that there is something to admire about every culture on the planet. God made us all, so none of us can be all bad!

        • You are correct, God made us all ! I love to study geneolgy. I have some Swedish and Polish thrown in the mix too. Oh sheesh, I'm a natural blonde and Polish…help !! My materanal great grandmother was born on the boat on the way over to America. Her parents were fleeing Poland b/c of the Bolsheviks. My great grandmothers official birth place is Ellis Island on her Birth Certificate. She is more legal the BHO.

  3. Looks good and I love the name…"Friends of the Constitution." Great idea adding the vent section since so many of us already know each other through our ID avatars. Looking forward to seeing more people added. There is so much I need to learn about the Founding of our great country and our Founding Documents ! Take care all and God bless this great nation.

We are coming. Are we coming for you? Who do you represent? What do you represent? Listen. Because we are coming. We the people are coming. Got feathers and prepared to use them!

    • I'm going to go WAY out on a limb (with a chainsaw) and call this election for Brown by 8 percent. If I'm right, you can say you heard it here first. If I'm wrong, well, I already know what you'll say. lol!

There is a massive sea change coming in US politics. You are correct. We, the People, have awakened. It's early yet, but I already fear the response this will cause, and I'm on the right side of the issue. Imagine what the left must be starting to feel.

    • Did you see the photos of the people out there holding signs for Brown? Estimated 3000 people. One pic was posted by a Facebook friend that was there. Nice big crowd outside I believe the town hall.

    • Well, he didn't win by 8, but a win is a win and beats a loss any day. I'll take it!

  5. You know what? Just to make myself feel better, I'm going to make a list of all the weasels I'll be glad to see get voted out of office. Feel free to help out.
    1.) Harry Reid
    2.) Nancy Pelosi
    3.) Chuck Dodd
    4.) Barney Frank
    5.) Chuck Schumer
    6.) Diane Feinstein
    7.) Hillary Clinton
    8.) John Murtha
    9.) Arlen Spector
    10.) Barbara Boxer
    11.) John Warner
    12.) Jim Webb
13.) That bitch from Maryland (whatever the hell her name is)
    14.) " " " Louisiana (Landrieu, I think)
    15.) Ben Nelson
16.) Joe Leiberman (he's a poison pill waiting to happen)
17.) oh, God…I almost forgot… Al Franken! …I just hope he dies.
    18.) Harry Byrd
19.) dishonorable mention to David Axelrod, Rahm Emmanuel, Robert Gibbs, Tim Geithner, Eric Holder
20.) * this is helping! I'll work on it more tomorrow.

    • Don' t forget Butterfield! He's right up there with Reid and Pelosi. He's standing beside them when they make their big announcements on heath care. He told the chairman from my group during a town hall meeting that 90% of what the elected officials do is not in the Constitution. UGH!!! We're working on getting Ashley Woolard elected in his place. I met Ashley a few times, and he seems to be what we need. No controversies, no scandals, just a normal family man that runs a fourth generation farm and a second generation business. He's a Reagan conservative, and believes that if it doesn't follow the guidelines of the Constitution, it doesn't become law. He also believes he answers to his constituents, but more importantly to God.

      • I was wondering who those anonymous stuffed suits were. Thanks for the tip. I'd agree that 90% of what they do is unconstitutional, but to use that as a defense or a justification is intolerable IMHO.

    • MDgal24 says:

The bitch from Maryland is Barbara Mikulski. Yeah, she and Ben Cardin need to go. So does Stenny Hoyer in the House. Fat chance of that, I think only mine and two or three other counties are Republican or conservative. Most of Maryland is a minority, illegal, or works for the government.

      • Thank you for verifying that for me, and for the additional information. Don't despair of getting our problems fixed! We can do this. We need to speak with confidence and conviction. The truth is its own defense. Educate yourself on the issues and principles, and then spread the wealth. We (the Friends and Patriots) will help you in any way we can. You aren't alone and we CAN do this.

**Oh, my God! Thank you for reminding me about Steny Hoyer! He has to go on the list!

  6. Some of you will recall that on July 8, 1947, a little over 60 years ago, witnesses claim that an unidentified flying object (UFO) with five aliens aboard crashed onto a sheep and mule ranch just outside Roswell, New Mexico. This is a well known incident that many say has long been covered up by the U.S.. Air Force and other federal agencies and organizations.

However, what you may NOT know is that in the month of April 1948, nine months after that historic day, the following people were born:

    Albert A. Gore, Jr..
    Hillary Rodham
    John F. Kerry
    William J. Clinton
    Howard Dean
    Nancy Pelosi
    Dianne Feinstein
    Charles E. Schumer
    Barbara Boxer

See what happens when aliens breed with sheep and jackasses?
I certainly hope this bit of information clears up a lot of things for you. It did for me.

No wonder they support the bill to help illegal aliens!

  7. Richmond Tea Party had a 10th amendment rally at the Captiol today. The Patrick Henry speech was read and then keynote speaker AG Ken Cuccenelli spoke about the new laws being introduced to the state assembly, one of them being HB 10 VA Healthcare Freedom Act. I wish I could've of gone !

  8. I miss the 912 Czars. If we can't bring them back, we'll have to appoint new ones!

  9. MR2 says:

    Shot heard round the world…
    Clifford Andersen

"By the rude bridge that arched the flood,
    Their flag to April's breeze unfurled;
Here once the embattled farmers stood,
And fired the shot heard 'round the world."

opening stanza of Ralph Waldo Emerson's "Concord Hymn" (1837),

Today the good people of Massachusetts will go forth to elect a new senator to represent their Commonwealth to the Federal government. Something that happens all the time in our great country. But for Massachusetts, it has often been a forgone conclusion that their representatives would come from one particular party.

Historically Massachusetts has been a Democratic party stronghold. The majority there have aligned themselves with the politics and principles espoused by that particular party. What has changed? Much like the sea change that occurred in New Jersey and Virginia, other Democratic stalwarts, the Democratic party's tide seems to have run out.

The complacent Democrat leaders in Massachusetts seem to have put forth a mediocre, lock-step party faithful who has run her campaign of continuing the current policy of corruption and insane spending despite what the people want. With multiple distortions and miscues, many blatant and obvious, – culminating with her exposure of climbing out of the lobbyists beds has turned the people against her. Just another 'professional' politician.

A peoples challenger for “Ted's Seat” has risen. A man who says NO, this is the “Peoples Seat” and we, Democrats, Republicans, and Independents do not like what you are doing. A man who seems will go to Washington to represent the Commonwealth in accordance to the peoples wishes and is not beholden to party bosses.

Over the past few weeks, the people have also risen. Arisen in opposition to corruption, spending, and in support of true representation. No longer Democrats or Republicans, but true Americans awakened to the dangers of runaway blind political ambition for power and outraged enough to stop it. Regardless of who wins todays race, much like the resistance shown on the Old North Bridge in Concord so many years ago, the fact that this Democratic fortress is no longer beholden to a single party, one that ignores the peoples wishes – will be another shot heard 'round the world.

We are coming. Are we coming for you? Who do you represent? What do you represent? Listen. Because we are coming. We the people are coming.

  10. Nice looking site.
Don't judge my profile too quickly. There are friends of our constitution outside religious circles as well.
    Good luck going forward.

    • As long as you are on board with saving our country from the proglib commies, I'll leave you to your own religious proclivities. This is a public site and I expect to have a wide range of views here. Just don't be surprised when others speak out about religious principles that have bearing on political and social issues. glad you like the site. I hope to see you again. I'll take a peek at your profile when I get a chance. We'll be adding more features soon. Thank you for the well wishes and come back soon!

I don't think anyone here will judge you because of your religious beliefs, my friend, this isn't the Huffinton Post, afterall. Hanzo

      • I may not like the idea of atheism, but I recognize the right to hold that belief according to the Constitution. We all have to understand that document and start living by it and holding our elected officials to it as well. Only then will we be a free society.

        • Good enough. At the moment my greatest concern is government interference and corruption. Fight the battles close to home first, then work our way up. In my case, my local counties and the State of Illinois government.

          • Hanzo says:

Do you really believe that religion is opium to the poor and uneducated? That is very intolerant and condescending of you to say that. Rene DesCartes, Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, George washington, Ronald Reagan, Tycho Brahe, Johannes Kepler, Galileo Galilei, Robert Boyle, Edmond Halley, Thomas Telford, Joseph Priestley, Michelangelo, Leonard DaVinci, John Quincy Adams(along with virtually all of the Founding Fathers), John Wesley, Gustavus Adolphus, John Churchill, just a verrrrry small list of great, but uneducated(in your mind?), religious men of faith. To get respect, you have to give respect, that's all I'm saying ;-) …………. Hanzo

SEAT SENATOR SCOTT BROWN WITHOUT DELAY. DON'T LET HIS SWEARING IN BE DELAYED BY THE DEM'S.
    SIGN THE PETITION.

    http://www.seatsenatorbrown.com/

  12. Exactly! Of course the Dems will try to delay, because they just saw a state they count on to be in their party get tossed on its ear! This is a sign of things to come in November! I'm doing my happy dance right now…..

    • The Democrats are now in quite a pickle. The fallout from any delay is obvious to all. If they attempt reconciliation, it may well fail. The House never liked the Senate version of the Bill, and they would have to pass it in that form to get it through. I'm thinking that it's unlikely that the Congress will pass a Bill that they neither like nor agree with, knowing in advance that it will cost them their "career" in ten months.

Additionally, with Scott Brown in the Senate, the chance of a different version coming out of the Senate that the House will like or pass is almost nonexistent. What a difference a day makes! The playing field has been completely changed. I'm sure the proglibs will not stop their scheming, but we have at least on check to their absolute power now.

  13. White_Rose says:

I haven't seen you since beck changed his site. Good to hear from you NC.

  14. Good Read. I love your site, I’ll be back for your next piece

  15. Here's another thought for discussion:

We are at war (a real live shooting war) with Al Qaeda(sp?) and the Taliban. How is giving them civilian trials and Constitutional Rights NOT considered giving aid and comfort to the enemy? Isn't giving aid and comfort to the enemy in a time of war classified as Treason? And isn't Treason punishable by firing squad or hanging? I'd say someone has some explaining to do in this Administration!

  16. Additionally, isn't the order to give Miranda rights to enemy combatants on the battlefield an unlawful order based of this train of logic?

    • Hanzo says:

I believe your argument is correct in its entirety, top to bottom………… Hanzo

      • I've have heard the argument that "our troops would never follow an order to fire on their own countrymen". I have grave doubts that these troops even know what an unlawful order is, let alone have the guts to disobey one. We could all end up in a very dangerous position as a result of this situation.

        • RB60 says:

I believe there are many who would not fire on their own countrymen, especially those who understand the oath they took, BUT, I do feel that many local and state police would, some of whom would love the opportunity.

          • I would like to understand your belief on this subject. Do you believe that none of them would obey an order to fire on US citizens, or only part of them?

If every single serviceman refused that order we'd be in fine shape. If some fraction (I wouldn't venture a guess) of them did decide to obey that unlawful order, what would be the end result?

If even 10 or 20% went along with it, the results would literally be unimaginable. The consequences would reach around the world and far into the future. I know there are a few "ifs" here, but what we are seeing right now is that commanders in the field are technically obeying an unlawful command on the battlefield by giving aid and comfort to the enemy in a time of war. They swore a solemn oath not to do this, and yet there they are… doing it anyway. Nobody seems to be paying attention to this or thinking about the implications of our accepting this by not saying anything about it. No one is even asking the question.

        • olnavyboy says:

It all boils down to junior officers and NCO's. Who would be in the troopies faces screaming "Fire, NOW!"? With all that pressure, I am pretty convinced that some will, just due to pressure. My real question is, who will reload?

    • olnavyboy says:

All this does is give the enemy a platform to use as a recruiting tool. And they have an SOP now. Get arrested, ask for a lawyer, then plead guilty. They have not used our own system against us, they have played bleeding heart progressives for fools.

By the way, I like the layout of your site. Very easy to use interface. I am glad you revamped it.

  17. RB60 says:

Minutes after the AP called Brown the winner in Mass., the liberals (Maddow, Matthews, and that pathetic Olberman) tried to make excuses for losing the election. Every reason but the right reasons were discussed, from a bad campaign to people not understanding (Obama says people are still mad about what went on over the last 8 yrs. LOL). The people DO understand. They understand this administration is spending without limit, making deals behind closed doors (so much for transparency), bailing out and trying to run private businesses, giving terrorists rights with domestic trials along with paying for their lawyers and trying to force their agendas (including global warming) down our throats while turning a deaf ear to the people. They now have until November to make up more excuses on why they are losing their support. Could the Tea Parties have anything to do with it? Naaa, we are just a bunch of lunatics who don't get it….or are we??

    • I see today that Obama has all but said straight out that Coakley's loss was Bush's fault. This just keeps getting funnier and more pathetic every day. The Bible says that pride goeth before a fall. Once again we see that the truth is its own defense. His own arrogance and stubbornness will be his undoing. It has already blinded him and stopped his ears to the will of the American people.

      • Hanzo says:

The degree of hubris displayed by bho, his administration, the dem/libs in general and the msm is simply astounding, and every moment of watching them squirm is delicious……………….. Hanzo

  18. RB60 says:

I would like to be considered as the Classic/Muscle Car Czar. Everyone should have one of those big-block, high-horsepower, gas-guzzling, tire-smoking, ground-pounding hot rods from the past in their garages. There is nothing better (except for a Top Fuel motor) than the sound of a hi-lift camshaft, all-American hot rod idling at a red light or stop sign.

  19. Hanzo says:

Scott Brown, in an interview with one of the talking heads of the msm, made a revealing comment when he stated : I'm going to Washington to represent my State". Did he mean his constituents, or, in fact, his State? Could this be a comment meant to insinuate that he supports the return of true States Rights? As Constitutionalists, I'm sure everyone here is aware of the erosion of States Rights and the Federal Government usurping these powers delegated to the States by the 10th Amenment to the Constitution. The advent of the 17th Amenment of the Constitution, passed, I believe, in 1913, more or less sealed the fate of States Rights. By restoring the direct election of Senators to the individual States Legislatures, many eminent scholars feel the persuasive power of PAC's and special interest groups would dwindle to nothing. That's a good thing. The Senators would then be obliged to represent the vested interests of each State in opposition to the growth and intrusion of the Federal Government. Then the "sweetheart" deals, and backroom poltics, would also fly out the door, as it were……………

    • Actually, the end of the Civil War did as much to seal the fate of States Rights as the 17th Amendment did. I'm just sayin…

      • Hanzo says:

It sure did, the 17th Amendment was, more or less, the final nail in the coffin, so to speak. When the 17th Amendment took away the State Legislatures election of THEIR Senators, the last vestiges of States Rights flew out the window.

Lincoln made sure States would acquiesce in the view of Secession from the Union, the States Right to threaten the Federal Government with dissolution

.Ol' "Honest" Abe strengthened the Federal Government at the cost of States Rights. With the passage of the 17th Amendment, though, the States vanguard against the behemoth the Federal Governmet has become, all but vanished. The States are now in a quandry as they have no true representation in Congress……………..

      • Hanzo says:

……. The Federal Government is now able to run roughshod over the States, demanding tribute at every turn, and threatening to hold back "Government"(taxpayers) funds. Interesting to note, the 16th Amendment, allowing for the passage of a PERMANENT , progressive Income Tax(1 of the planks of Marxs' Communist Manifesto) was passed just months before the 17th was passed. Without going into it(we probably all know the story), the 16th was passed under, at best, suspicious circumstances, to say the least. Ol' "Honest" Abe first used a "temporary" income tax(the first of it's king here) to fund the Civil War, much like the "temporary" Payroll Tax, foiste upon us by by our friend FDR, probably the biggest Constitutional charlatan ever……………….. Hanzo

  20. Hanzo says:

……… As it is, these backroom shenanigans are, at face value, unconstitutional, as they provide one State advantage over another, with the resulting costs burdened by all States. Is repeal of the 17th Amendment the only answer ? It would appear so. As is, the States have no true representation in Congress. No representation, no rights.
This forces the States to seek remedy through the court system, as evidenced by the States AG's attempting to sue the Feds over the healthcare debacle. Not good. Which venue must the States use in order to accomplish this? That's right, the Federal Courts, with the odds stacked against them. Lifetime appointments(vs. election) of Judges to Federal Courts is another sticky wicket. Afterall, don't you think said judges are going to represent the interests of their employer, the Federal Government?…………………..
